Many F150 owners on here are reporting what I call launch shudder when they have a loaded bed. My truck does this as well from 0-30 mph. It seems that the driveline angles for F150s with the split driveshafts are to blame. My dealership has been in contact with Ford as they have felt this shudder personally. Ford responded that this is normal. Yeah Right!

My question is this: Does adding airbags to the rear suspension help with this transmission shudder? If the driveline angles do not change much with added weight, I would think the shudder could be significantly reduced or eliminated. If the rear suspension was stiffer, I would think this issue would go away.

Can anyone with airbags on the 2011 F150 comment on this?
