I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2005 F150 with 20s. The first set lasted me 52,000 miles and the second set had 55,000 on them when I traded the truck in. It easily had another 5 - 10K left on them.

It depends on what you want out of your all terrain tire, as with any tire there is give and take. I've been happy with Nitto Terra Graps for a good balance of longevity, light off road traction, winter use. I had a set of old BFG's (pre-AT/KO) and was not happy with the winter performance. But they road nice and maybe the KO makes them better in the winter. The Terra Graps are a bit rougher I assume due to sidewall stiffness. Gonna be giving Goodyear Duratracs a shot this winter only time will tell. Obviously winter performance is important to me, so what is important to you?

Sand, mud, ice, snow, rock performance?
Dry pavement traction for the occasional 1000 foot run with an Ecoboost?
Maybe inexpensive, long lasting, quiet? Or you might like them loud and with an aggressive looking sidewall? Just saying, best is relative to what matters....

I had the Nitto T/G for well over 50K on my 05 f150 and replaced them with the same tire. Its an all around good tire. Best bang for the buck.

No complaints for my Michelin LTX AT-2's. Nice ride. Good snow grip last winter. Hopefully will wear well...About 12K miles and still look nearly new.

No one has mentioned Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrains. Great all around tire.
