[Update]I have over 500 miles is that enough to race it.

I would think it would be very hard on the transfer case especially when trying to dis-engauge 4WD. I am thinking there might be a few metal fillings. ( I could be wrong though).

^ yes, leave it in 4wd all the way down.

Check out the other thread here about an ecoboost running 0-60 in 5.6-5.8 seconds. He ran it in 2wd, traction control off and tow/haul mode on. Their is a video on the thread too! This is very impressive for a stock truck.

I did use the tow-haul when i raced and was in 2wd.
