Haha yeah I knew what you means. Was being an ***

My neighbour had a 528 in what I thought was his 80's or early 90's F250. He wasnt much of a car guy so I thought it was stock. Could have been built up to tow I guess as it was a work truck.

Lol, some of you guys are all kinds of flustered. I was simply stating what I read, not saying it was a fact and also asking a serious question about future Ford vehicles.

Flustered? No.

You posted a question on an obviously dubious report of a potential production vehicle, we responded.

End of thread.

Lop ok... Just asking if you guys had seen it. I got your thoughts on it. And you don't know if they built it or not. Or even drew it.up. the concept they originally made for 2012 that we all seen ( the silver truck) is even more ridiculous. And who would of thought about a 45k$ baja truck with a huge 6.2 (raptor) would ever come to life. I'm sure you said that was not true the first time you heard it. Or a 50k$+ Harley truck with 22's
What's that compared to a truck that would be slightly faster if any to a gt500.

I'd never believe they were building a 9L for a 1/2 to truck. You'll be lucky to see the 6.2L in a 1/2 ton in another 3-4 years.

I doubt it, ford is going too green and a sport truck isnt green in the public's eye, even though a 6.2L single cab short bed would get about 20mpg city, throw a supercharger on there and it will go up if you keep your foot out of it.

I agree. Even an Eco boost with a few more pounds put to would be a respectable truck. And probably get 25 mpg if drivin correctly.

yeah with the engines they have now and all the different configurations you can build your own version of a lightning with any of the 3 main engines

The Raptor is not green at all, even less so than a 6.2 sport truck. When SVT gets ready they will build a new Lightning, hopefully with a 6.2/5.0 blown in all cab configs with short beds.
