Very clean inside and out. not one dent or ding.

Noticed problems
-Could not get backup sensors to work (Said can get working)
-Wheels are pitting (20") (said ford replace under 36k or 3 years)
- Window chip (replace)
- Worst of all looks like the moon roof leaked and the headliner is stained, just about all of it from the front to back. (not sure if they can clean or replace)


Other than that it is almost perfect.

That seems a little high, even if all the stuff you mentioned is fixed by the dealer at no cost to you.

 

That's what I was thinking. Can get a new 2011 5.0 same f4x for 33-34k new

How low do you think they can go if they are asking 27,900

I have been more into the diesel world and not to sure about f150 pricing

 

I'd be concerned about the stained headliner. Why was that sun roof leaking THAT bad and has it been fixed properly?

 

there is something wrong with the driver LCD info display, look at the one picture where its just random specs of blue displayed

 

If it was me...id keep looking. That asking price is kind of high. For a few thousand more you can get a new one with 3 years 36k miles of warranty. When you factor in the extra few thousand divied up in the life of your loan, its not that bad

Are you sure its the sunroof leaking...or maybe they never replaced the 3rd brake light and the front Sat anttena which BOTH are prone to leaking in these year trucks. Theres a TSB out for these leaks.

 

when i was looking i found prices were high. found an 09 Fx4 ext cab like that one but with the 18's for 19,700. would have bought it but they were about 5-6k low on my trade in (worth more than the truck and offered me 5k below the truck). that one was terribly low IMO on price but it moved quickly i'm sure.

most i saw were around 30k give or take a couple grand, i found a 2010 new (identicle to that but candy red) for the same price that one is. i'd go to a dealer and see what they can do new. rebates are probably good enough for you to go ahead and get new w/ a full warranty

 

Seems high. Four weeks ago I bought new 2011 loaded XLT Supercrew with 5.0 for $28,380. It's a 4x2 but the Supercrew should even that out somewhat.

 

I reviewed the oasis report with build date (Friday Nov 2008) Said something along the lines of there is a rough spot near the seal that had to be sent to a body shop to have smoothed out and glass relined. *note none of this showed up in the car fax! They said they had no idea which i find hard to believe as bad as it was. Then come to find out they are the ones that had it fixed, just forgot about the cleaning or replacement of headliner which will prob. cost. good buyers.

Cant stop thinking about even if they do clean it how long until it happens again or what else could have got wet.

Good eye. Not really sure whats going on in the pic but everything worked out fine. (other than back up sys) Was worried about this on my way to check it out * note the 2011 is much easier to use

Really, good to know. Just 2009? when was this fixed? I like the sun roof but after seeing this def not worth 1000 bucks to me to have one more thing to worry about and deal with. I plan on keeping the next truck i buy a very long time. 10 year min.

This does come with a 6 year 100000 mile warranty. Any idea how many miles on that 2010?

Where is the best place to search for used trucks? Is certified worth it? Thinking yes for over 20k

Any idea if there will be good deals on the 2011 here in the next month or so? and what is the best time of year to buy for deals?

it's fishy that the LED display is weird, and that they have brand new tires on a truck with that few miles. My 2009 has 41000 miles and my tires have another 20k on them easy. and I tow quite a bit. Not saying any thing is wrong for sure, but I would be wary... and a suspected leaky sun roof can be a PITA.

 

maybe 40? it was brand new. it sold the day after i looked at it.

you won't find an fx4 2010 this late in the year, but i bet you can get a 2011 fx4 supercab w/ plus package for close to 28k.

 

Ya the LED was fine in person but not sure how you get it to looked messed up in the pic. Could be something or maybe it was just changing right when pic was takin.

Not sure on tires but being a cert ford i believe it has to have 50%

As of right now the Sun roof is the biggest turnoff They would have to give me a great deal at this point.

Was there from 6pm to 9pm and the best they would come down is 27500. What a joke told them to give me a call back wednesday with the best price they can or will do (with everything fixed)

realize you won't get sun roof, 20's, etc. plus package is the only option i originally wanted, but couldn't find in the candy red.

track down some dealers with the truck you want, contact internet sales (less BS usually, this past go around i was disappointed w/ all the dealers i dealt with but the one i bought from)

Really do not want a sun rood, IMO 1000 buck option that i will just have to worry about over the years.

Really do not want 20" wheels, going to get BMF's so the 18" would make better (cheaper) winter set.

Think i can find the fx luxury pkg only? or will this truck more than liky come with other things to jack the price up? Really the fx4 has stock just about everything i would want.
