2005 - 2011 F-150 Center Console Swappage
Does anyone know if the older center consoles from the 2005 - 2008 F-150's are able to be put into our 2009 - 2011 F-150's jump seat spot?

Shorse, eBay has had only 2 as of the last week. One sold for $325 and the most recent one sold for $520. Trust me I have been keeping an eye on them. No way in hell would I pay $520 for it because you can buy these brand new for $498 from Tascaparts.com. I've been googling close by salvage yards, and one that is about an hour away will sell it to me for $125 plus $40 shipping which is great.
So as for eBay, if your patient you could probably get one. If you are itching to get one bad and have the will power to work at it, you could get one for dirt cheap from a salvage yard.
Or if your like me, when I go to buy my truck, I am going to haggle with the dealer until he practically gives me one or throws it in for free lol.

I know from personal experience that the 2011+ jump seats will not work in the old body style trucks 04-08. I attempted to put a 2011 Jump seat in my roommates 2004, and realized the mounting bolt holes did not match up. So if that's any inclination, I don't think the 04-08 style center consoles will fit in 2011+ trucks because the mounting points are different. That being said, I'm sure it can be done with a bit of drilling.

I got one from http://car-part.com back in 06 for my 05. Looks like the new ones are pretty pricey. I recall they were going for about $300 when I got mine for $125 shipped across country. Try the $Call listings, sometimes they have a better price. Mine came out of a truck that looked like it got hit by a train, it was dirty but cleaned up just fine. I recently had to put the jumpseat back in for the baby seat and was hoping it would fit in the new trucks so I could sell it, don't think there's much of a market for it for the older style trucks.

I use that all the time to try and get ballpark figures. It looks like the 09-10's won't fit from everything I'm seeing. If I get the chance I'll pull one to make sure. There are lots of junk yards around here so I'll see if I can find a good used 04-08 to replace my vinyl one that has no cupholder (my other seats are cloth) with one with cupholders and a compartment.
Thanks everyone!

The 04-08 consoles will not fit a 10-11 without modification (cutting). The 04-08 console bolts directly to the floor pan using four bolts. The 10-11 console bolts to a frame that is bolted to the floor pan. This frame is used for both the 10-11 jump seats and console.
How do I know this? I tried to install an 04-08 console in my 11 when I couldn't find an 11 console. It is possible, but it would have required a bit of hacking to make it work. I just sold the console, took a small loss, and waited for an 11 to come available on e-bay. When I finally found one I snagged it and installed. The wait was due to the color. There are tons of 10-11 consoles in the adobe/tan color, but I needed the steel grey.
