EcoBoost too quiet??

If I decide to go EB, I'm just going to have to go with the 4" straight pipe. I've been driving smokers so long the turbo whistle is a need. It may be a six, but it isn't a rice rocket with a fart can.
I'm still staring at figures on a 2011 F-350 because of the payload and the desire to snag
a larger travel trailer/fifth wheel
in the future. After seeing the potential of the EcoBoost and the pleasure it could deliver as a daily driver, it is certainly looking good with a straight pipe.

Drove the 5.ohh and EcoBoost. The 5.0 sounds very very nice, but the torque and power of the Ecoboost is even nicer if all things but sound are important. I didn't buy it for the fuel mileage, I just flat out liked the way it drove. Coming off a 6.0 Diesel, I didn't want to drive a truck with an engine that you had to spin like crazy to make power.
Really liking the way the Ecoboost drives!!

I just bought a 2011 F150 Ecoboost Supercrew 4x4. It is very quite and I like that on my daily driving. I do miss the V8 rumble a little, but the turbos are going to make the exhaust more quite no matter what exhaust system you put on it. All of the exhausts I have heard for the Ecoboost sound a little too much like the import fart cans for my tastes. I would rather it be quite than sound like a fart can....
If V8 sound is important to you will probably not like the Ecoboost....
