Let's see here how this stacks up:
1 OP has one and only one post on this forum-check
2 OPs forum name is MAss hole-check
3 OP has come up with a near impossible scenario- check
4 OP claims that he's having to pay for the gas, $80.00-check
5 OP is an apparent troll- CHECK

Does anybody else see a trend here?

I believe this is an issue ( aside from the OP issue ). i always use shell, and 95 percent from the same station. i fill up with 87oct. i do have a tuner, set at 87 economy tune.

last time i filled up. i put in 89oct. runs a hell of a lot better. it would shudder and hesitate. not any more.

i too would try a different station/ different grade.

What engine do you have? I'm guessing it isn't the 5.0 and if it's not, that sounds like a tune issue.

forgot year and engine.
2009 with 5.4

it only started happening recently, it was quite noticable. this station does seem to run out of fuel a lot mainly 89oct, i always wait a day after they fill up to get gas there. ive looke at check stick on side of building, and it shows they 'fill' up when the get an order in. dont think they are getting watered down fuel or tank issues.

it is a canned tune, on EDGE CTS. i also ran it on LVL3 and put 93 oct in it. never had an issue. checked with a couple others who run 87 oct tune and they dont have issues, i did report it to EDGE just to keep them in the loop.
they only thing i know they 'broke' in the last update was the shifting.

i think i might try switching to BP its just down the street.

Yep, sounds as if something is going on with their gas, I would definitely try another station.

My friend said his 2011 5.0 screw it died four times last week on his way to work.. Same exact issue as the video but this time when he got to the dealer they took hims more serious as they were able to duplicate the issue and now they tell him he needs a new throttle body. Hope that fixes it for good!

I'm hoping the stall was a one time fluke. Only time will tell. I do plan on trying a Conoco station a few blocks from home at next fill-up. I will post if I have any more concerns or issues.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving,
James

Anyone else having this concern?

James

Did you ever figure out why it stalled. This happened to me last night. I just bought a used 2013 f150 with the 5.0.

Welcome to the forum, adambrid, and congrats on getting an F-150! If you haven't already, I'd recommend making an appointment at your local Ford Dealership for diagnosis. You can locate one near you by entering your ZIP code here: http://www.ford.com/dealerships/locate What's the truck's current mileage?

Thanks for responding, adambrid! Let me know if you decide to get this into the hands of your local Ford Dealership; I'll be able to step in and assist once this has been diagnosed.
