I had a 4.6 and it was a pig with 3.55s and 265/75R16s on it.
Not sure why you want to go to a tire that is just 2inches bigger. Seems like a bunch of money for very little change.

You will not get any mileage out of this configuration, so I would get as much power as you can. Go 4.88s. It will only raise your rpm over 4.56s maybe 300 rpm at highway speeds. Gears are a hard and expensive change, so you only want to do it once.

By doing gears you help ease the stress put on the tranny by the extra rolling mass of the bigger tires.....
