I know many of you aren't a fan of the bedside decals, heck I even pulled them off my 05 after some convincing it was a much cleaner look.

I have always loved the FX series trucks since they came out, and really thought the 09-11 bedside graphics where the best ones yet if you so chose to leave them on your truck!

Now it looks like they went and changed them back to a softer version similar to the 99-03 FX decal.... Boooo!



Here's to hoping these are either just on the FX2 or just included with the FX appearance package.

I got it fixed up now. It didn't like the linked pic from motor trend. Thanks to PUTC we are in luck!

 

I actually like them, did not like the 09-11 style stickers at all. I actually left the stickers on my 07 and installed the 09-up fender badges and the expy FX4 badge because they have a similar look.

 

I also loved the 04-08 decals! That is why I had such a big debacle about removing them.

 

im not a fan at all to be completely honest. I like the look of the 09-11s wayyyy more. the straight edge looks better than the curve in the new ones. only stating my opinion though, to each their own

 

Didn't most people dislike the '09 decals? I'm glad they changed it up again. Keeps it fresh.

Ill be taking my 2011 FX4 decals off shortly, soon as I get some time, they're just plain fugly.

I like the look of the 2012's if they maintain that look for the FX4. Id consider putting those on, but will most likely keep the clean appearance of no decals at all.

We'll see....

 

Any time I talk to anyone about my truck they tell me they like it except for the FX4 decal. I always agree.

 

I know it's all a matter of opinion, I just can't recall any time they have changed them in the same model year..

It's too soft around the edges for my taste.. if anyone gets the chance check them out in person, they look kinda goofy and appear to be scaled down in size when I checked them out.

 

I think so, sure seems that way when you get on the subject. Only ones I've seen who like them locally are mostly those who just bought the truck and hadn't yet grown tired of them .... but they "come around" usually in time. I know that NO way would I leave the 09-11 FX4 decals on a truck of mine if so equipped, I did NOT like the hard straight edged sharp corners look one bit.

But then again .... while new-er is sometimes good, I like the whole look of the 04-08 much better than the 09 up trucks.

To each his own.

 

After seeing the 'build and price', they did change for the FX4 too... I'll be peeling them off if I go that direction..


I guess things like 'decal delete' or something similar are no longer around? My dad ordered a Lariat back in 99 and if i remember correctly an option was there to delete the stickers, which he opted for.

 

I love my 09 decals and I loved my old 05 decals but I don't know about these. Also all my FX4s have been 2 tones and it's my opinion that 2 tones look weird with out them there but on a monotone truck it looks good debadged

 

Are those expy FX4 badges still available? I like it
