I traded my tired 2006 STX for a 2010 STX today. My only complaint is the lack of handy interior storage space. My 06 had a nice fold-down console with cup holes and a lid for the compartment. The 10 has an armrest and the cup holes are on the floor. I'm thinking of hunting up a 06 console to replace the 10 unit. BTW, the 06 was a regular cab and the 10 is a supercab. If the parts are interchangeable, I'll be very happy. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

probably are, but why not just get a 09+ console so it matches the interior? check ebay.

if you don't need the middle seat and want the storage, get the full center console. best swap i ever did in my 07 and I don't plan to ever have a truck again with the center seat and fold down console.

Thanks for getting my old brain kickstarted. What I have is a center jumpseat and what I want is a console. My old 06 had a jumpseat also, but it had a storage compartment on top. So, am I looking to get it at a dealer or aftermarket?

 

i'd buy one used off ebay. most are new take offs anyways for the 09+.

The main difference between the '04 thru '08 console and the '09 and newer is the mounting bracket that bolts to the floor. They are completely different.
