Deal Time!

Getting the oil changed Saturday and Bankston Ford-South Fort Worth had a line of XLT supercrews from $27,400 to $28,800. They had a red FX4 with a sticker of over $43,000 for $34,800. All were discounted in the $9,000 range.

Yep, all of these have been on the lot for several months. When the 2012s hit the lot, the dealer has to pay Ford for these, so they will no longer be on the floor plan. They do not want them to still be there. You can proably get another $1,000 knocked off if you hang tough.

I never pay attention to what they advertise them for. I don't think they would advertise them for lower than invoice - rebates. All that is just to get the unknowing buyer in.

How long do they finance for now? It's been 14 years since I've bought new.
I've been looking at used lately but if Ford is offering some discounts then
I might could get payments on a new truck close to what I'd end up paying
for used.

Jim,

you are not a very nice man. You forget I live just 15 minutes away and that is where I have bought all my fords. I have been refraining so hard to not go up there.

I'm not sure, but you are usually best to re-finance after a month or so with your bank to get a better interest rate but to get the $1000 ford finance rebate.

It is a very sharp truck. I guarantee you can get it for $10,000 off sticker. About 33,800.

If you want to deal with them, I had great luck with Chris, he is the internet sales guy. It was pretty much a no hassle buy for me.

If you drive by, they are lined up facing the showroom, right in front of it. The red FX4 is just across the entrance drive from the used cars.
