So bad news I guess. Apparently the tint shop can't tint my brow/sunscreen until I have the rear-view mirror removed, and they won't take it off because apparently in our year of trucks, there is a possibility if the wind-shield breaking when the mirror is removed. Has anybody else been told this? And if so, has anyone actually had their wind-shield break? Even the glass shop in town told me there is a chance, and I don't know if I'm willing to take the risk on a 5 day old truck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the compliments! I`m loving this color lol... I got the windows tinted, but by the time it was done, it was too dark to take a good picture, so hopefully one tomorrow, if it`s not snowing hard that is...

I was told the exact same thing about my '03. Guy wouldnt do it. I have a few dings in mine though so, he said if I ever have it replaced, just tell them not to reinstall the mirror and come see him and he'll tint and put it back up for me.

Okay, so this must be a pretty common risk among many different models of vehicles. I was thinking that this only ever happened too 2011 F150s or something. I called the other tint shop in town and they said they should be able to make a cut, so the tint can go around the mirror without taking it off, I think I like this approach best.

Great looking truck. Mine's very similar except I have a SCrew with 18s and EcoBoost. I'm definitely glad I went with the blue.

I get more "Nice truck!" comments with this truck than any other DD that I've owned. They guys at the car wash yesterday loved it.

I agree, everybody that see's it seems to just love the color. And they are pretty common around where I live. I've heard that apparently Grande Prairie Alberta is truck capital of Canada lol.

Well, I was going to go today to get the brow put on, but the only other tint shop in town cancelled on me. I've decided I'm going to put it off until summer. I think I'm going too buy a nice set of interior LEDs instead!
