Which LEDs to use for Map lights?

I'm thinking of upgrading to LED lights for my interior, and I was wondering what LEDs I should use for my 2 Maps lights. I plan on using this:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...viewsTabAnchorfor my dome light. (I think)

But I don't know what to use for my Maps. Another user in another thread suggested these:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/G...viewsTabAnchor

But all the reviews on the site say that people use them for licence plate lights. So I'm a little confused as what I should use. Any insight would be appreciated.

not sure how the lights are in yours cuz i have a screw but i bought 1 pack of these http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p6638587.html and 2 packs of these http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p8200027.html
i have 2 map lights (194) and a dome (211) up front and 2 maps and a dome in back all (211) i believe you have one dome in back with no switches on it right? i would suggest 5k its more of a whiter light the 6k are kinda blue but its what ever you like... the bulbs you have up there are right just got to figure out how many you need & what color cuz the links you have are 2 diffrent colors

I realised that after, I did some research and I ordered the 5K. And I only have 2 map lights up front, and the 1 dome in the back. I believe my dome is a (578)

If you only have 2 (194) then I understand why you only bought one pack of the first link but if you have 4 of the (211) why did you only buy 2 packs of the second link? That's only 2 (211)s not 4. I only ask because I really want to switch all mine out to LED.
Thanks.

Disregard my previous post. I figured out what I needed, ordered them last Friday, and installed them today. Love them.
I had 2 map (194) up front and 3 dome in the rear all (211). I also did my 2 cargo lights (921) and my 2 license plate lights (194 angled) for anybody reading this in the future wondering what bulbs they need. I got 6k for all of mine.

I had the same question. (Which 921 for the cargo light?)

Also, has anybody replaced the backup light with LEDs? My wife's MKX has LED backups and they're super bright. Which 921s would I want for those?

All of the following pertains to the 2009-2010 SCREW with no sunroof.

I bought one pack of these, two bulbs, for the maps up front. (194)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p6638587.html

Three packs of these, three bulbs, for all three rear lamps. They all use the same. (211)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p8200027.html

One pack of these, two bulbs, for the license plate lights. (194 angled flank)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p6691894.html

One pack of these, two bulbs, cool white, for the cargo lights. I bought them from superbrightleds because V-leds was out of stock at the time. They are in stock again now. (921)
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...%2F921-x12.htm

If you want to buy all of them from V-leds you could also use these for the cargo. They are back in stock now. They are pretty expensive and the ones I posted from superbrightleds work fine for much less money. These would provide you more light than the ones I posted from superbrightleds though. (921)
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...26829-1-2.html

EDIT- I know now that the 2011 SCREW with sunroof only has two map lights (194) up front and one bulb in the dome in the back (211)

I would say yes to be honest, way too bright to turn on while driving at night IMO.

you can always pop the cover off and take a look at the bulb. thats what i did then compared them to the list of bulbs.

I wouldn't say they are any more diestracting than the incandescent lights. The light is "cleaner" so it doesn't really "blind" you. So long as she is just using one map light I would say you are fine.

There is a bulb guide on www.sylvania.com but if you have a SCREW with moon roof I think you need. 2 map (194) and 1 dome (211) up front and 3 dome (211) for the back. I posted links to those bulbs above.

Apples to oranges. Your wife's MKX has Osram Superflux LEDs for backup lights. No kind of plug-n-play is going to come close to being as bright or as efficient.

V-LEDs is always on sale. They manufacture those things for pennies on the dollar and sell them to people at well over 400%+ inflation, and give you a measly 5/10/15% off to make you think you are getting a steal of a deal. It's a measly sales tactic.
