I just painted my scosche. You don't even notice the pattern missing.

See that's what I'm thinking is my best option as of right now. How do you think the Scosche fits?

I had both. The metra was terrible when I installed it but they may have improved it since then. The Scosche fits so well that when it is really cold in the winter, you have to wait for it to warm up before the face of the Kenwood will open.

Is it not possible to just cut out the hole in the stock bezel or will it not line up? Is the row of numbers at the top of the stock stereo not part of the double din location?

I'm getting close to being serious about pulling the trigger on this so I'm getting my ducks in the row. I figured out what I'm going to do. I'm going to get the Scosche dash kit and have it hydro dipped in a carbon fiber pattern, maybe even do the top of the center console to replace the 'Matrix' pattern. Not sure if the panels on the door are able to be removed.

As far as retaining Sync and steering wheel controls.. Is everyone going with PAC stuff still? .. or is there something better to get? .. easier to install? etc.
