Double Din Dash Kit for 2011 FX4

I did a search but couldn't find too much. What's the best dash kit for a 2011 FX4? I couldn't find much. I found the flat black Scosche but want something that looks OEM or as close to it as possible.

Thanks!

I think Metra has one.

Sorry, I meant Metra. I couldn't find any Metra kits that are glossy black or even to the FX4 pattern. Just seems like it might look a little funny since the dash kit goes all the way down to the center console. Anyone have some pictures of theirs?

I emailed the Schosche guys around a month ago - they actually make dash kits for the F150 that are finished to match a few of the more popular F150 trim levels. I know that have most of the 2010 models covered, but they don't have one for the 2011 Platinum yet (that's what I was looking for).

Send them an email about your truck - maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

While you're at it, ask 'em about the '11 Platinum again and let me know if they say yes... LOL.

I sent them an email. I only saw the one on their website that is flat black like Metra's. I'm crossing my fingers. I really didn't want to have to send a dash kit to the painter..

Go scosche, not metra. I have the metra one and am switching it out whenever the scosche I just ordered gets in. The metra dash kit looks like crap. It sinks back into the dash and does not look good at all. I will try to get pics if I can, but the scosche looks 10x better.

Lol, I have heard the exact opposite, that the scosche kits are garbage and to go with metra. Interesting......

So they might have a dash kit that matches the FX4 matrix trim? That would be huge.

I didn't see anything on the website but I emailed them... Even if you could get gloss black it would look a lot better than flat black against our center console!

It took me a while to find it on their website last time I looked, which is why I replied here. I don't think many people know they offer the factory-matched surrounds...

I emailed them and they said all they have is the flat black... Can you post up the email or something?

Make sure you post pics of both the Metra and the Scosche after you get it. I'm interested in whichever has the best fit and finish, although I may get the black one and match paint it to the rest of the silver dash.

what's cool about the xsvi harnes is that it is already pre wired to plug directly into the aswc steering wheel controls

oh also i unplugged the sync controls and used the holes to wire the z130bt usb/aux cable through so it looks stock!

i'm in the process of contacting Carid.com to get them to make a vinyl wood grain to match the lariat. will have an update in a week or so!
