slip yoke

After my dealer visit. They couldn't duplicate the bump feeling. I pulled the driveshaft a day later, to check for grease. See the pictures in my profile. That is what was inside. Seems like it was greased. But anyway I added some more, The blue ford grease. Spread it out with an old toothbrush. No pics of that. I haven't really noticed a difference yet. Now since I pulled the drive shaft and greased. Will ford tell me to go to hell. If I keep going back for same problem.?

Yes, they will -especially if your truck is under warranty.

I am waiting for the backordered kit to come in for mine. It includes a new boot and modified grease, so I was told. I assume your yoke is no longer sealed, and that will be the issue. My truck keeps getting worse. From what I feel and know, I am highly doubting it is ALL the slip yoke. I have the bump, but it feels like the rear end is loose and ready to fall off when pulling away from a stop.

I've noticed that it seems I may have lost my traction control as well.

I've been looking at a new Superduty or EcoBoost, but I'm not really THAT close. This may be the straw. I'm in the low 50's, and they've already tried to pull the slip yoke as a "non-warranty" item.

traction control did not engage for me the other day. Going around wet traffic circle. Hit gas and almost spun out.

Since I lubed the slip yoke. I have not had any bump feeling. See how long it lasts.
