I usually just leave mine of fuel economy.

I called the dealer and he said that ill have to bring the truck in, because I am not getting rear parking aid to show up in the Driver assist page.

I only have the XLT, and no TBC, or rear view camera....but the guy on thephone said I had the higher end display controls.

Do you have this screen:

It will only display when you are in reverse. Lower your tailgate, then put the truck in reverse. You should get the alarm and a display similar to this.

took it to the dealer today, they cant fix it... they dont know whats wrong...they THINK it was something called MY KEY that might be programed by on eof the salesmen playing around with or showing a customer how the system works and they set some controls or preferences...they said my other key might be the one that programs the MY KEY.

well i went home and sure enough they gave me 2 extra keys...one goes into the ignition and turns everything on..BUT WONT START the truck... a warning comes up,..STARTING FAULT!!, plus the buttons on that key wont activate the locks.
The other keys works good, but it doesnt show the parking aid either...it operates just like the first key i have.

so i am left now to call the dealer again tomorrow and tell them the "other" key wasnt the solution!!

what a FARCE...THE MECHANIC SAID THIS my key STUFF IS ONLY A YEAR OLD OR SO AND THEY HAVENT LEARNED IT THAT GOOD YET.
