New truck!

I don't have any pictures yet but I traded my 2005 STX 4x4 Regular cab in on a 2011 STX 4x4 Regular cab with the 5.0. The 5.0 is amazing! I had to part ways with the 05 because of going back and forth with the dealership on my driveshaft/rearend issues they could never get straight.

Something that has been messing with my head with the new truck is when I slow down it feels like the rearend or driveshaft is binding up so when I let off the brake I get a thump. I guess it could be in the transmission. I did a search and found a couple of threads and read about the driveshaft slip yoke thing....AGAIN. I am praying that I don't have to go through this again... My 05 got to the point where I was greasing the driveshaft every 2,000 miles and the symptoms kept coming back.

All in all I love this truck. It is so smooth... And I'm in love with the 5.0....

Congrats on the new truck! I have heard some great things about the 5.0. I am actually considering trading my 2010 FX4 with only 14K miles for an 2011 5.0. I just haven't found a good enough deal yet.

Look up Johnny Lightning- he is working on custom tunes for the 5.0, He has a single cab 5.0 running a 12.9 quarter with just a tune and a cold air intake! And he can make the engine sound like it has aggressive cams with just the tune.. pretty wild!

There is seriously no one who knows how to write a 'cam' tune correctly for the 5.0L, yet anyways. They are all horrible..

Before selling a new vehicle the dealer should have checked with any recalls/TSB's that need to be done. Anyways, the TSB for my 2010 is 09-25-5. It may be the same for your truck.
