What to Do, What to Do...

The high maintenance cost of a diesel still doesn't hold much weight with me. Yes, the oil changes are more, but in thirteen years of driving diesels at close to 60k miles each year, the only cost was the oil and filters with the occasional fuel filters. There was no other costs. Then, I changed oil every three weeks. Now, every three months with my reduced driving.
I know it all adds up, but this next truck should be kn the garage for 6+ years, and at 90k, I wonder what everyone else does.... Will the EcoBoost be strong then, or a money pit? A diesel at 90k is just broken in and ready for another 190k.
Even with diesel at $0.50 more a gallon, I'll break even on fuel costs over what my current 5.4L gets, so the only potential savings is the $500 a year in gas with the EcoBoost.
