Harley Davidson, Limited front bumper cover
Hey guys I purchased the same front bumper valance that goes on the Harley and Limited edition trucks. I got it painted and the body shop was going to install it but he was looking and he said it wouldn't fit. I know the are a couple of trucks that have installed these on their trucks and I need some help. I don't have access to Ford parts program where I can look up only the parts I need and ones that I already have. What I need to know is first do I really need any thing else or what parts I need to install it on my truck. I have a 2011 FX2 please help guys I'm kinda at a loss here.

All underlying bracketry must be replaced. In addition, there are two unique metal "frames" to support the urethane HD/Ltd bumper "cover."
I would suggest you stop by your favorite Ford parts department and ask for a parts break-down of 10+ HD/Ltd bumper assembly. That's what I did for my conversion on my Platinum.

Alright Auguster is correct and I will take it one step further and give you all the part numbers that you need for the bumper conversion or the ones that I used on my gf truck and just gave to my buddy for his FX4. Your fog lights will transfer over right into the new bumper
AL3Z.17757.BPTM - Metal Bumper
AL3Z.17626.AA - Harley Shell
AL3Z.17B968.BA - Bumper grill
AL3Z.17C882.A - Support
AL3Z.17C882.B - Support
Joys of working at a ford dealership I can get the part numbers easier.

One thing I discovered is that you do not have to remove your front tow hooks to install the HD/Ltd bumper, although, they become useless as they are no longer easily accessible as they are covered up by the "lip" of the bumper.
I did the conversion only because my truck was involved in a mild front end collision that so happened to fortuitously damage just the right components I have to replace anyways for an HD/Ltd bumper swap. The body shop that repaired the truck did the conversion under insurance with only $89 out-of-pocket to cover cost over-run beyond the insurance pay-out.

Yea, the "buck tooth" look really didn't appeal to me either, though it wasn't so noticeable on an all black truck with painted bumpers.
But the HD/Ltd "cover" is just that: a urethane soft cover. It's not a "real" steel bumper. Just something to be aware of for those that like to "park by braille."

About $470 for both plus shipping and you'd still have to paint the bumper cover. Pricey but they look pretty good. At least the pics do.
Here's an installed pic.

Wow, great concept! Tho I would think if they made the bottom leading edge continuous instead of "inset" between the tow hooks (which I believe is the reason they did it that way to maintain functionality and accessibility of the tow hooks) it would look cleaner. Just my opinion....
