Thanks. The HID kit I have in right now is a cheap ebay kit. Only problem I had was one of the ballasts was bad and I had to replace it. I really wouldn't recommend HIDs in our stock housings without a projector retrofit. HIDs in reflective housings loose a lot of light out to the sides and up high and have a tendency to blind oncoming drivers. They will improve your visibility but not near as well as HIDs in projectors. I have my projector retrofit kit and an extra set of headlamps in my garage but I have not sent them off to be installed yet. check out www.theretrofitsource.com they have everything you need. There are also many threads here about retrofits in the "lighting and illumintaion" subforum.

after a 600 mile, 9 hour flight (worst airport trip ever!!) this was right after i picked her up in the rain.
[IMG][/IMG]

one of the first things i ordered was a edge cs with pod dash for a little more juice.
[IMG][/IMG]

next was a AS 2'' leveling kit, 30% window tint on front window, and some vent visors.
[IMG][/IMG]

after a year i decided to have some magnaflow duals installed on a 45.
[IMG][/IMG]

and this is how she sits now. once the tires wear out i hope to put some 35'' nitto trail grapplers on her.

Nothing crazy with this one...went overboard on modding my last few trucks, so this one is staying stock for the most part.

The day I brought it home:

33x12.50 Toyo MT's on 20" XD Monsters, 30% front tint.

Basically the same setup, but 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers in place of the Toyos.

Not much has changed, but there is now a black 3.5" magnaflow exhaust tip on the truck (tired of the black soot covering my stock exhaust pipe )

Man that truck looks so sweet I love that black, I had to check because I thought it was a two tone because of te reflection of the ground.

Milt, thanks it means a lot your build is amazing. The heads weren't that hard to do I practiced on one of my old(none hd/raptor heads) ones then built my courage to go with the project I also tinted the yellow marker thing on the top edges while I had it open.

Also I just finished my full dynamat project yesterday with the completion of my roof.

Yeah I am definitely going to have them tint that amber reflector lens in my heads when I have them retrofitted.

I plan to do dynamat or something equivalent pretty soon. My subs are causing more rattle than I want.

Great transformations everyone!! I love threads like this. I see no one has posted anything here in a while I hope this one gets revamped. I just recently bought an 09 and have a lot of mods in mind. So far just tint and running boards have been added but I'll post some transformation pics once a little more has been transformed! But lets get this thread going again!
