Saw an old thread like this for the 2004-2008 that was pretty popular so I thought I would start one for the 2009-2012. Kinda cool to see how our trucks start out and how we customize them to make them our own.

Post pics of your trucks transformations from start to present. You can show pics documenting each modification step by step or just a pic of how it was stock and a pic of how it sits now, whichever you prefer.

I will go ahead and kick things off with my truck from start to present showing each modification. Enjoy.

Bone stock the day I bought it



Rhino Liner, de-badged and de-stickered



Removed running boards, flipped tires to black wall out



Belltech 3/5 drop



Precision Billet Grilles, limo tint all around, Dumped Flowmaster 40 exhaust, mirror reflectors replaced




JL 13" shallow mount sub powered by JL 500w amp



Switched to Image Dynamics 8" subs in ported Blackbox



HD 22" wheels




Helper bags and air horns

 

LED lights in interior, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights





4 1/2 x 6 1/2 drop




Custom billet antenna



6K HIDs in head and fogs (retrofit projectors coming soon)




Tinted tails and 3rd with PTM trim on tails

My trnsformation is no where near as intense as yours but here it is (also dont have many pics)

Here it is the morning after i picked the truck up



this was after a couple mods upgrade to hella head light and then hids (before finally projectors), also level and toyos, tinted front headlight(too cheap for hd heads at the time) also took those factory mirror reflectors..



Sorry for the really small picture i accidently shrunk it in photoshop..

and she is now.. ive done a 6" bds, projector retrofit, 20" monsters 35" toyo mt's led interior, hd/raptor heads and tails, tinted third brake light, bedliner & removed stripper pole and bedliner the cover plate, magnaflow, painted emblems, amp research steps, tint (thinking of going darker and adding windsheild), fox rear remote resevoirs, raptor 2wd locker mod, recon bed lights, and way more..



waiting for my rigid leds to come in for a reverse light helper.. further down the road probably gears, bakflip & bed rug, some rigids up front.. and way further down some 37's might change the rims too

2012 FX2 Screw bought December 8, 2011.
Two days after took FX2 stickers off and put AVS Ventshades

Installed Undercover SE:


Lowered rear to level with BellTech Shackles:


Installed Rugged Wheel Well Liners:


Did Mirror Reflector Signal Mod, WeatherTech Digital Fit Floorliners, Tinted front windows and front strip. Think that is about it for now.

FX4210 your headlights are amazing and I'd say your truck has seriously transformed! Love it! I have had my projector kit and extra set of heads sitting in my garage for months. Just haven't had the extra scratch to send them off and I already ruined one head via the D.I.Y. method. Lol

This has the potential to be a great thread. I know there are a lot of 2009-2012 members here, most with modifications. Don't be shy guys. Show us what you have or the direction you're going! Lifted, lowered, any color, any trim. We need some Color in this thread!

 

I've got the wrong body style to participate on this one, but keep the pictures coming! I love transformation threads!

@Milt, Your truck has been a huge inspiration to my DSG Street Truck, keep up the good work!

Top two pics are when I first got the truck. Bottom two are after adding OEM step's, 33" Nitto's, 2 inch AS leveling kit, tinted window's. Simple mod's to improve the look's and still be a great daily driver.
