2014 F150 worth the wait?

6.2 4x4/3.73's/20's/~1000 miles.
18.7 highway
12-14 around town
12.5 towing the bass boat
avg. so far is 14.5 according to the computer. If I can get the around town avg. to 15-16 after a few thousand miles I'll be really happy.

That seems respectable considering the options on the truck.

Will any 2015 F-150's have the 10 speed, or will we have to wait for the 2016?

So is there going to be a 2014 model year? Or are they just building a ****load of 2013's and releasing the 2015 early?

I think the '15 will have the 10 speed, but the new 2.7L V6 EcoBoost won't show up until '16.

I can't believe it's been that long since I started this thread. I think the Atlas is a good indicator of Ford's direction. My uncle who had been a Ford guy jumped ship to Toyota Tundra. I'm standing pat.
