Thanks buddy - that makes me feel ( slightly ) less dumb

Here's a dyno graph from 5 Stars tuning.

It's from a regular cab, 2x4 Ecoboost.

Some dyno give a lot less hp then others hahaha.

Gosh, such hostility towards the Ecoboost! I had no idea?
Guess I posted this thread in the wrong section. LOL

No, this dyno does not give "optimistic numbers" as someone commented. Its pretty much dead on.

I originally had both of my Mustangs tuned on this dyno yrs ago. Since then I've had them on a couple more dynos around town. My numbers have always been very similar on the different dynos. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower.

Matter of fact my car made less power on it Saturday than in the past.

I have two friends that have traded their older 5.4 3valve trucks for the new EC trucks. Both have commented that it was a good move and love the EC.

After riding in them, watching them make power on the dyno way beyond what my 5.4 3 valve is capable of, and also getting superior MPH compared to mine, I can't wait to trade mine for one in the next couple yrs.

You know, a few years ago, whouda thunk we'd be arguing about all the good engines in an F150? They're both great engines, and those who can't accept that need to get a grip!
hahaha some good people on this forum here

don't get me wrong..I would if I could buy a super duty 6.7 power stroke , I don't got 70,000$ to spend at the moment tho! for all u ol fashion ,yea I get it

who woulda thunk a 3.5 destroying 5.7s , all day

you can pick up a fully loaded KR f250 for 52k + TTL. Still expensive, but it's not THAT much more than a f150 KR + the diesel option.

a 3.5 beating a 5.7? it's no different than the ricer crowd beating v8's.

A 2010 5.4 here. Test drove the EB and was very impressed to say the least. I read some time back where K&N had dyno'd a EB and pretty much came up with the same thing. Bought my 2010 used 9 months old. Probably traded in on a EB! I love my 5.4, but don't get me wrong. My EB time is coming. Jealous? You betcha! I hate but, only out of pure green envy. Very impressed with the EB.

yea i was 50ks more like it.. new fx4 5.0L is 44k , was looking at it the other day too.. and yea it might be I guess. Personally don't like the import scene ,ugly ,high pitched 18 second cars for the most part. If a civic can run 12s though I gota give him some kinda credit at least
