test drove the ecoboost today

guess you didnt read that I said 4x4. Add that and beer math tells me your over 30k. When Im talking truck too Im talking 4x4 with at least a supervab, not a 4x2 or regular cab. If your were able to get a 4x4 with a super cab and specd out pretty well for under 30 please post your receipt.
$9-$10k off is not un reasonable if you are patient and shop around on a truck with a 38k sticker.

base xlt supercab eco 4x4 offroad stickers at 37,660. That's a 28k truck if you can negotiate. Also leaves you roughly 2k to add in for options and still fall under that 30k price point or upgrade to a supercrew and just squeeze in.

but fellas anyways I test drove the 5.0 today. and the eco again. and by the way if u haven't drove the eco u gota get in one cuz she almost sold me on it.
brings me to my point I gota go with the new 5.0 liter 4v.. the ecoboost has insane torque and I was ******* her a little today testing out the manual shifting ; its a torquey man.
gota run with the 5.0 tho ,newly developed TT 3.5 domestic is a lil sketch for my old school conventional ***. great trucks ,I don't wana risk voided the warranty with mods etc etc . either way if you haven't drove the ecoboost yet go try it !! drove this beast today ,fresh from the factory in michigan,7 miles on the engine.

About price - especially if you hate having to negotiate.
I just bought a 2012 F-150 Ecoboost Supercrew FX4 with the appearance and luxury package in Tuxedo Black. It stickered for $46,665.00.
I used Consumer Report's website and their pricing service (which is free) and within minutes had dealers calling me. Needless to say the next morning I had an offer on the table for the truck listed above for just north of $38k. ZERO haggling. By the way...that was delivered to my door three hours away from the dealership without signing anything yet. All in all not the $10k that others have mentioned here (which had I known about I would have pushed harder) but it was still over $8000 in saving compared to sticker. Also...for the record...I have access to the X-Plan via my employer. The $38k beat the X-Plan price by about $3000.

i would be at the dealer tomorrow if they offered the eb with the reg cab shortbed config., even better with a 5 speed manual trans. It cannot be that much of a loser for ford to roll a few of those off the line ea. Year. Not everybody needs or wants a sc or rc longbed.
