Got into a new 2012 FX4 over the weekend
Brought home my new 2012 FX4 this past Thursday. I believe it has every option except the appearance package, running boards and 20" wheels, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, I'm crazy about the truck! I've owned a 2006 XLT 5.4, downgraded to an older Expedition and now I'm back where I belong!
I plan on keeping her stock, other than some moderate tint, Silverstar Ultra headlights and fogs, and a bed liner. But we all know how plans usually work out!
I got 14.8 MPG overall on the first tank the dealer put in, but that was absolutely ******* the truck! A trip from San Jose to San Francisco and back netted about 18.2 MPG (120ish miles RT), mostly highway with some city thrown in. I'll be pulling the 7x16 below a good 5-10 times a month so I'll be sure to report back with MPG numbers after I hit my 1000k.

Wow, good eye! I did a pretty good search and Frontier was the only dealer that had the truck with the options I wanted. Morgan Hill let me take a nice XLT home for a night since I thought that's what I wanted, but after getting in a loaded FX4 I knew I couldn't settle for another XLT since I had one in 06'. Felt pretty bad taking the truck back since they were pretty accommodating. Offered to buy the frontier truck through them but I guess they are arch rivals and don't deal with each other...
Did he? Nice! Assuming his truck is still stock like mine, I can see why he wouldn't post. There are some really nice trucks on here wayyyy more worthy of being shown off! But I went through a lot since having my 06' so I figured what the hell, pretty proud to be back in a F150, stock or not.
