We to the dealer today no change. Does it really take 7+ days to get here from Kentucky?

Stopped at the dealer again today to get the full vin# and was told that my truck which was on a train to Chicago was taken off and sent back because of a seat belt recall.

Any one know any thing about this?

My build date is 05/14 Dearborn plant and was told it shows delivery to CA by the end of the month.
I somehow doubt it will be here by then. Well maybe Ford will have 0% financing by June.

Mine was built Monday, and has 3.73 e-locker? I'd be curious to know more about the material shortage.

My build looks like this:

March 28--ordered
April 20--scheduled to week of may 7
April 27--scheduled to day of Monday may 7
April 30--order sent to plant
May 7--produced
May 8--ramp 59 w/origin shipping
May 14--ETA at dealer in Oklahoma (betting more like may 20 though)

**Delivered to dealer may 18th

I'll be able to pick it up June 1 thanks to work travel.

Placed my order on 3/8/12. The F150 FX4 Screw was built at the Dearborn Plant on 4/16/12 with an ETA of 4/30/12.

As of this past Friday (May 18th) the ETA still says 4/30/12 and the truck is awaiting shipment.

I did get a case manager who is working with Ford and my dealer, but they all seem confused as to what is going on. The only information I received was "updates were being applied to F150s in April before they shipped via rail. The truck will be released from the plant shortly". However many people on the forum had their trucks built the same day as mine or even after, and have already received them; some of which were sent via rail to the state I live in.

My dealer also said that since my truck was built on a Monday, it could be the 'first in - last out' scenario. Regardless, it has been sitting in Dearborn ready to ship for over a month, and I assume it takes quite a while to get from Michigan to Oregon when it does leave the plant. I am sure it will be worth the wait, just hope it hits the train soon.
