Placed my order on 3/8/12. The F150 FX4 Screw was built at the Dearborn Plant on 4/16/12 with an ETA of 4/30/12.
As of this past Friday (May 18th) the ETA still says 4/30/12 and the truck is awaiting shipment.
I did get a case manager who is working with Ford and my dealer, but they all seem confused as to what is going on. The only information I received was "updates were being applied to F150s in April before they shipped via rail. The truck will be released from the plant shortly". However many people on the forum had their trucks built the same day as mine or even after, and have already received them; some of which were sent via rail to the state I live in.
My dealer also said that since my truck was built on a Monday, it could be the 'first in - last out' scenario. Regardless, it has been sitting in Dearborn ready to ship for over a month, and I assume it takes quite a while to get from Michigan to Oregon when it does leave the plant. I am sure it will be worth the wait, just hope it hits the train soon.
