Shifting Issue

Has anybody noticed a RPM flair up between 2-3 shift on the 2011-2012 f150 with a 5.0. It seem a lot better shifting trans then my 2010, But this new 2012 only has 1k on it and I have noticed that the 2-3 shift it was not as quick as the other gears. This maybe normal. It don't do it all the time just once in a while. Maybe I worded it wrong, maybe it is a small lag in between that shift. It is different then the shift points in my old 2010.. Thanks guys.

I have a 2012 V6 EB. Mine goes CLUNK when shifting into 3rd under normal driveing conditions. I only have 2,300 miles on mine. It didn't do that when i first bought the truck.... I have been waiting to see if other have the same problems.

Is it something that ford has been trying to do. Was hoping they fixed that. My '98 shifts faster gear to gear than my '08 or my dads '06 does. Really bugs me at how slow it shifts at times. Seems to almost cut spark or something during shifts. I was hoping for a farm quicker and firmer shift and from what you are saying the new tranny still doesn't do it like the far older models did. I hate to have to spend hundreds of dollars on something like an Evolution just to get it to shift like a truck from the 90's. I think they tried to make the shifts to smooth, too much slipping/delay between gears.
