OUCH!!!!! Glad it wasn't worse...... At least you got your '12 now

Nice truck! Glad you removed the stripe it looks better without IMO. I'm not sure about the offset front plate though. Never could figure out why Ford did that on some trucks? I guess I like symmetry.

They moved it for the EcoBoost trucks because it blocks airflow to the intercoolers.

Well at least there is a logical reason then. I didn't know that!

Perfect! Without the stripe it looks amazing! Guessing the rear differential was damaged on the 05, right?

Yep, on the 05. Ironically it happened as I was taking it out for the weekend.. The weekend prior to picking up the new 2012. I jokingly said she (the 2005) must have know I had a new mistress with the 2012.

Sucks about the '05 (but I bet she'll be stronger than ever when you get her back), but your new truck looks amazing. Maybe not so much on the red trucks, but I really like the smoke colored stripe on the black FXs...

I get the best of both worlds now since I kept the 05 in the stable!

A week later tinted, bed lined, stripe gone, wheel wells sprayed and truck fully detailed:

For anyone interested here are some shots of the app package stripe:

Hopefully the pictures are rotated and straight..

Nice truck! Glad to see you didnt trade the 05 in. We still need to meet up and take pics of the high and low

Not trying to start a whole war here, but I prefer 5.0 over the Eco tho.
