"Quality Control Stop" - Dearborn?
Good day all. Been lurking for some time and this is my first post.
My F150 SCrew 5.0 litre in Red Candy was supposed to be built last week, the week of 16-JUL-2012. Got a message from my dealer to say that the truck is in a "Quality Control stop." Is that the same as a "quality hold" where something has to be fixed off the line before they ship it? If so, does anybody know of any major issues at the Dearborn plant that could have held up my truck, whether it be parts shortages, bad supplier parts, or otherwise? I've been searching several forums and haven't seen anything mentioned for trucks built in July 2012.
Thanks all for any information you might be able to give.
