Basically, turbos are going to mean at least a little lag. Luckily Ford put a decent 3.5L V6 in the truck to help compensate for this. The lag in the EB is hardly noticeable when compared to other passenger cars(I'm not including diesels in this discussion because that's a whole different story). I've had several turbo cars, this EB is by far the least "laggy" of them. My last car was a 09 WRX (265 HP, 244 lbs torque) with a much better motor and turbo than years past. That thing lagged like an SOB unless it was over about 3K RPM. On the other hand, an EB F-150 seems to have little lag over about 2K RPM. Yes you need to drive it some, blah blah blah, but overall these are amazing little motors.

I've made a strong statement based on facts and past experience. Now bring on the flames
