New Headache Rack

Haven't seen too many pictures of headache racks on the '09+ so I thought I'd put up a couple for the people thinking about it. I bought this rack used off craigslist and I believe it's a Cattleman HD. Was in perfect shape and unfortunately painted gold. A couple coats of Rustoleum Gloss Black and it looks great. Will definitely have it redone professionally at some point.

Yeah there great for keeping your back window in one piece. And the extra tie down spots don't hurt either

I drove a 4wheeler through the window on my last pickup so getting one of these has been on my list for awhile.

We used to have to have those on all of our woods trucks. It made it hard to keep the rear window clean and limited rear visibility at night. They do have a place though.

I had a back rack on my 04 for that very purpose. I think the prevalence of short box crew cab trucks is the main reason you dont see more of these. Guilty here.

With all the blowing dust up here I've given up on keeping it clean. It only gets washed to put a new coat of wax on. And I opted for the window cut just to retain some sense of vision.

That's why you go for the SC 6.5ft bed , otherwise known as a landyacht.

Thanks. I have "no regrets" from putting it on.

Actually I have one, I just wanted to use that line.
I scratched the ever living hell out of the bed caps putting in on after painting. I had no help so it slid quite a bit across them.
