I found one of the last 2012 FX4 ecoboost trucks in town, they wanted to get it off the lot to allocate more 2013's. Msrp was $45,080 and I paid $34,638 plus ttl.

This is the deal that I am currently looking at...

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and looking to purchase a 2013 XLT. Being in the military and overseas I have access to a program called Exchange New Car Sales. Below is the quote and vic info. This will be only my 2nd time ever buying a car and 1st time in about 10 years.

So, please let me know if you all think this is a good deal, fair, average, and so forth. Really appreciate the feedback.

Quoted: $36,888.50

- 2013 XLT SCREW 4x4 5.0 V8 3.73 E lockers 6.5 bed
- 7 year/75,000 mile warranty, rustproofing, underbody sound deadener, fabric protection
- Trailer Tow Package
- Power rear window w/ defroster
- 301A Mid equipment group
- Off-road package

The rest is all pretty much the standards.

Basically...
MSRP = $43,889.85 with the
Military quote being = $41,888.50
Rebates = $5,000
My total = $36,888.50

I've got some emails out to a few dealers, checking prices. If I can get a legit quote for a better deal from them, the program I was looking at will price match. I shall continue the search till I get my deal..lol

I just bought my 2012 FX4 Supercrew in mid September. The sticker was roughly $44k and I got it for $34,000 + tax and title.

HM8404 - If you are interested, I can give you the dealership and saleman's name where I bought my new truck. It is approximately 30 minutes from DC. He just helped a buddy of mine get a deal similar to mine. Thanks for your service overseas! PM me if interested.

Bought my 2011 on 1/12. There was a big sign on the windshield, $7,000.00 off. I looked around the lot and saw all the rest were 2012's and a few I really liked. But I bought it even though I am not liking the color (sterling grey) It is a XLT SCrew with the chrome package, posi, EB engine, tow pkg. It is ok, I guess. Now I really want the Limited with the red leather and loaded.

Just purchased a 2012 FX-4 with Appearance Package in December as they were closing out to bring in the 2013 models. Sticker was $49k and I ended up paying $37,488. Included a $4k rebate and almost $8k off for "Preferred customer discount". Also bought a 5 year/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty for $1800. I think a large part of that discount was because the truck originally had the Appearance Package. Someone had actually signed a deal on the truck and requested that they remove the big side decals, which was part of the package. After they removed them, the bank called back and actually denied the guys loan for some reason or another. So technically, the truck didn't have the full package without the decals.

Bought my 2013, on New Year's Day, for $750 under invoice and an additional savings of $3,500 applicable rebates.

seems like eveyone is close to the same deal. my 2011 fx4 supercrew eco sticker was 43,000 and i got it for 35,500. 40,000 and change out the door. i did finance through ford for 4 months just to get the 1,000 extra incentive. moved it to a credit union later for a better rate.

Price

I buy all of my fords at the same dealer, same salesman. Over the last 10 years I would guess 60 plus of them.It is really nice to just pick up the phone give him a call say what I want and tell him not to f### me lol. We have become friends outside of buiness. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Just ordered a 2013 F-150, King Ranch, Eco-Boost, Kodiak Brown (not common on lots), 4x4, 157" wb, KR luxury package, Max Tow, and other stuff. I don't have the exact numbers in front of me but I got it for about $500 below X-Plan price (after paying a slightly higher Doc Fee price instead of the max $100 X-plan doc fee). Edit-I looked up the numbers and I'm about $410 under invoice according to Edmunds website.

I spected out the model and options I wanted, and emailed it to about 5 Phoenix area dealers - Fleet Managers. I received 4 replies back. One barely below sticker price, one midway between sticker and invoice and two very close to invoice. I chose the dealership that felt the most professional. Overall, a very clean, low stress method to purchase a vehicle. I have done this for about the last 4-5 family vehicles. Only downside is waiting a few weeks for delivery. Upside is getting exactly what you want, what options, colors, etc.

Don't know what the incentives or rebates will be until the truck arrives in late Febuary-early March. Not the best deal (those are on leftover 2012 models) but a good deal and I get exactly what I want. Didn't even have to place a deposit down, just a hand shake. Manager I dealt with was Henry McGee, Bell Ford, Phoenix, AZ.

Good Luck!

Bought my '10 brand new and walked out the door at 19,500. Xlt ex. Cab 4x4. Got all the rebates, 1k off by going through Ford, and traded my 2000 150 with 152k and bad lifters. they gave me almost 9500 for that truck!
