Installing factory power boards?

I have a chance to pick up some factory power running boards. For those who may have already done this, how hard is the installation. I have a 2010 FX2 Screw.

Just so you get into this with full knowledge...even though AMP Research makes the side steps for Ford, most of the electrical parts are Ford-specific and not interchangeable. For example, if a motor unit were to go out, you can only buy one from Ford (at approximately double the cost of an AMP unit). On the other hand, if you get them dirt cheap, that's another story. And as far as ease of installation, the only difficult parts are threading the wiring across the engine compartment, and positioning the side boards on the brackets. Everything else you could do by yourself.
