What screen are you using?

Help, I am still learning my XLT, just answered my 1st phone call today. What screen are most people using? I currently have the compass in the middle of the speedometer. What are most people using?

I usually have mine on the "last 5 min" screen, so I don't see that bouncing green thingy.

BTW, I just heard about the compass in the screen. I gotta see if mine has that as I hear some do not.

I use the offroad screen as it just looks cool.

I haven't seen the compass in the screen yet...guess I need to play around with it more.

The compass is in the gauges section. It's the top choice on your menu. Scroll through that and you will find it.

I use my trip screen as I drive long distances. Like the fuel Econ and trip miles up like my old 2010 showed

I like to keep mine on Trip B. I have to keep track of mileage for work and this screen gives me my gallons used, miles traveled, average mpg, and time i have been driving. I love that it has those bits of info because it helps me in fuel re-imbursement. Instead of guessing my mpg like i have had to do in the past, it gives me the total gallons and mpg per trip or per day that i log it. I use the Trip A to keep track of my mpg's between fuel-ups. But there are lots of different screens to choose from. Just pick the one you like the best. If i get low on fuel, i will switch to instant mpg and it gives me the distance to empty so i dont have to worry if i can make it to a gas station or not. I had to do that one time and i had 2 miles left before i got to the station. i will only buy from BP or one other here that sells 100%. So i usually dont get that low but i was heading back in to my office and wasnt around any BP's until i got back into town. I filled it up and it took exactly what the tank size says. So those screens are really accurate.

I think one of us are just going to have to ask about a refresh of the software next time we're in the dealership.

I also have the MPG showing. I go back and forth from 10 mins to real-time data ... depending on how often I want to be reminded of my progress.

Go between instant and offroad.
Compass would be a good option, time to head to the garage.

My 2013 FX4 only has the Tranny temp. The second option on that page is blank. I heard that that page can be programmed for a eco boost gauge. How do y'all have a compass?

Same here; I went out to check mine and don't have anything else to select except tranny temp.

Screen

I have the XLT, and on the top line, called gauges, I have 3 screens, one is the tranny temperature, the middle screen is a compass showing the truck orientation superimposed on it, and can be fixed north or rotating north.

The third screen on my XLT is also blank. The manual says it is blank, but they show 4 screens, one being the 2-speed Auto 4X4 displays power distribution between front and rear wheels.

I don't have that screen, but if I scroll down to "Truck Apps", I get a diagram of the drive system. Since I have not really engaged 4 wd yet, not sure what it looks like. It is supposed to show when it's in 4wd, tilt angle and bank angle in degrees and a lot more. Probably need to experiment a little with this screen. I think it is the screen shown in the manual but moved down to it's own line.

I also have the trip a/b and settings like door locks, lights staying on after shutting off etc.
