Hey everyone. I have a 2010 FX4 SuperCrew with sync, no nav, no Sony. Last night I began my stereo upgrade. Keeping the stock headunit. I removed the headunit last night and installed the metra bt-5520 harness with a 9-wire spliced into it. Put the headunit back in. Everything worked just as it had before. Sync, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, everything. Oh and I also ran the remote wire from that 9-wire to fuse 41 using an add-a-fuse. Anyway, the only side effect from my escapade was now my compass just shows up as 2 dashes in the display. I tried the calibration stuff in the manual but it's not responsive. When I press and hold the 7&9 (per manual) nothing ever happens. Any help? Thanks!
