2011 Ecoboost rearview mirror

Hello All,
I just recently bought a 2011 Ecoboost Screw. So far, I absolutely love it! I have one question though. I have the back up camera that appears in the rearview mirror which comes in very clear. The mirror itself however seems darker than a regular mirror. Being that my truck had a previous owner I am asking if this is normal. If not does anyone know how I could possibly get a new one?

Thanks.

Do you have a dark tint on the 3 rear windows? (factory)

Didnt think of that. Boy I feel stupid. That explains a bit but still it seems that the mirror isnt as quite reflective as I would like I angled it at the seats and it still seemed darker than usual, and I see almost little black specks scattered throughout the mirrors surface. I guess thats why I figured it was the mirror.

You may check to see if you have auto-dimming mirrors. They are a little bit darker also.

What are you a smart ***? It is a regular option. No one EVER said it was for the EB.

Force of habit. I usually give year make model and engine when I ask any question about a vehicle.
