2" Level for 2013 - Looking for Tire Help

I just got a 2013 Ecoboost Screw (traded 2009 exact same truck ) and want to do a 2" AS level kit with 2.5/3" block. Hoping for some feedback

Driving - Unfortunately this will be 99% on-road with majority highway driving (~90 mile daily commute). This is purely for looks, I held off doing it on my 2009 and now I want to do it MPG be damned. I only get offroad 2-3x per year for hunting. Am I going to get flamed for this, at least I was honest

Tires - I want to keep the stock rims and do tires. Is 305/55/20 where I should be looking? I worried about the width on the stock rim. Looking for some feedback on what tires I should be looking at, right now I'm at the Nitto Terra Graplers and Pirelli Scorpion ATRs (in my experience both have pretty bad tread life ~20K miles). I'm also open to other tire sizes.

I'm looking for something that fits my driving, fits my lift and wont be TOO much louder than stock or drastically affect the ride. Any advice, review or opinion is appreciated.

the toyo open country is pretty quiet on the highway. had them on a 2008 lariat and if i remember right they were a 305/??/18. it had a 2 1/2 in level on the front and the rear was stock. didnt rub at all. i currently have a 2011 with a 2 1/2" level with 285/75/17's and no rub at all. im not sure if a 305 would rub though.

These are the widest you can get by on the stock wheels with no rubbing...gas mileage dropped about 2 mpg on average. 24k miles on them with no problem's other then a little rough ride that's to be expected. More pics in my gallery.

Make sure you or the shop you get to install the leveling kit up front know to unplug the EPSA. I heard it could be damaged if it's not. Better to be safe than sorry on your new truck!!

With that much highway driving, I'd do Michelin LTX MS 2's.

It's the electronic power steering assist. Just unhook the battery and you should be good to go.

you mean unplug it while putting on lift, not disconnect the system completely?

Haha yea sorry multitasking over here should of been more clearer. Yes, when putting on the kit just unhook the battery to be safe, not really sure if the EPSA has it's own plug or not. Once kit is on hook the battery back up, and you should be ready to go.

That's a 33x11...great highway tire and they'll fit at stock height. No need to level.

What is the issue with it? Why does it need to be unpluged? Sorry for the dumb question. Im not new to lifted truck at all but new to the EPSA thats all. Im curious cause im putting a leveling kit on a 13 this weekend.

I've heard if you don't unplug the EPSA it causes a knock that comes from the EPSA system and you'll have to get it replaced. I did a little more looking around on it, and the trucks I found having the problem where the 2011 guys. Not sure if this is just a 2011 problem or not, but couldn't find a 2012 or 2013 with the problem after the leveling kit was installed. I even watched a quick vid on youtube of a rough country leveling kit install by them on a 2011 model, and they even tell you to unplug the EPSA. If I had a 2011-2013 it wouldn't stop me from getting the leveling kit, but I would probably unplug the EPSA just to be safe.

So I have looked around and I think I am down to these:

275/55r20 - 31.9" x 10.8" - STOCK

305/55r20 - 33.2" x 12.0"
Toyo Open Country AT II
- Too wide/heavy for highway?

275/60r20 - 32.99" x 10.8"
Michelin LTX AT2
- Seem like they might look funny with 2" front level and 2.5" rear block

275/65r20 - 34.1" x 10.8"
Michelin LTX AT2
- Too tall for width, will they look like bicycle tires?
- expensive, but I'd bite the bullet if best choice
