EB in the deep south
I'v just orderd a lariat screw with ecoboost max tow and HD payload. From everything I've been able to see, it seems ford has corrected earlier condensation problems but I have not see any real world info to back this up. Just checking to see what EB drivers in the high humidity of the deep south are experiencing. I do see a lot of these around here and our local dealer seems o sell quite a few.

In Atlanta. Drive downtown everyday for work. Get just over 17 mpg and no issues whatsoever. 2012 XLT Screw EB. I've posted a pic on here before where I got 26 mpg on a 4-1/2 hr trip to south Ga to my parents house. I'd say, best decision my wife ever made was when she told me to trade my 07 and buy a new one.

Got me Easter Sunday (just days after I jinxed myself on here) while driving home on the interstate in the rain for 3 hours, pulling a boat... Cooler replaced and PCM flash the tuesday after.

1st I'll start by saying that I do love my ecoboost. That being said I did have the shudder and loss of power when passing a big rig uphill while in the rain. Had to pull over, turn the engine off, and restart it. This was with about 2200 miles on the truck. I had been driving at a pretty steady 70-75 mph for a few hours, all in the rain. It was the only time it happened (it was in Tennessee). I'm now in Ca. And we don't get very much rain here. I have a 2013 with an April 2013 build date.
