Both sound like great deals. Is this a 5.0? I'm ok with that, will be happy with either 5.0 or EB. How much tax in TX?

here we go- purchased on 6/8 in NJ
2013 scab 5.0L 4x4 XLT with offroad pkg
sticker 41,200
got down to 33,500
went for the extra 2 years extended warranty for $996.00 , (thought of canceling it)
$34500

Dont think its thee greatest deal, but like the truck and looking forward to trouble free auto for the next 5-6 years. Just not seeing the deals in the northeast like rest of you guys. It certainly feels "fancy" compared to the 97' reg cab xlt w/220,000 miles i had.

went to refi, my bank says true cash market value is 33,000. Edmunds says Customer cash adjusted true value= 35,800

I am wanting to buy an fx4 and the rebates available right now are $5,000 per the dealer I am working with.
Just went to the ford site and under fx4 search for incentives for some reason it is showing the Xlt and it is at $8250 in rebates with ford financing.

What do you guys think or know from experience if the Xlt deep rebate will be carried over to the fx4 anytime soon? If I could get that $8250 on the fx4 I will be at the dealer instantly.

I applied, for a refinance, as soon as I received my first payment coupon from Ford; with penfed.org - online and they valued the truck at sticker.

They offered me 1.74% for 60 months. I opened an account with them, applied for the loan and was approved in minutes, had the pay off check, to send to Ford Credit, 2 days later. My first payment is now due Aug 3.

The run a very efficient operation, I am impressed so far.

So, here's the deal currently on the table with a dealer here in NTX.

2013 F-150 FX4 Ecoboost:
Equipment Pkg 402a
Appearance pkg.
Moonroof/Nav
Tailgate Step

VIN: 1FTFW1ETXDFC11971

MSRP: $51,640

OTD: $43,000

TX tax: 6.25% Is it in the ballpark of a decent deal at least? Seeing some pretty low numbers earlier in the thread.

Thanks for looking!

Since the tax is about 2500, I would say it's good.

My 2013 FX4 with 402A Package, Appearance Package, Ecoboost, Moon roof, navigation, plus optional dealer package (leveling kit, bed liner, and 295/65R20 tires) was stickered @ $53,700. I was able to get $8500 off of sticker with a 2.2% interest rate. Dealer also offered me free oil changes and tire rotations for the life of the vehicle as long as I keep their license plate cover on my truck and/or the small logo on my back glass.

Maybe two weeks after I bought mine another local dealer was offering $12K off of sticker price! just my luck! haha

I have never seen an XLT with a sticker of 47,800..... Something don't add up. I have never seen an XLT over 44k and at that point you should just buy a Lariat or FX..... Does it have a bunch of stuff the dealer added to it?

My 2013 FX4 with 402A (lux package) stickered for 47,500.....
