Tire suggestions for replacing Goodyear SR-A 275/65/18

I have 35,000 miles on my 2011 XLT 5.0 w/ Goodyear SR-A 275/65/18. Three of the OEM Goodyear tires have very little tread left on them. I was thinking about replacing them with Bridgestone Revos or Pirelli Scorpions. I want a tire with some tread life. Just want to know what tires you guys have had luck with.

Michelin LTX M/S 2.. 70,000 mile warranty and its a michelin. It cant be beat!

When i was buying my truck it had the goodyears on it and i told the salesman no way.. put anything other than goodyears on it... So he went and found another new truck on the lot and swapped em out.. I ended up with the Michelins and cant be happier.. I have always got atleast 60,000 miles out of them and sometime as much as 80,000 miles..

I've always had great luck with the SR-A's. I just had my oil changed Friday, and have 10/32" of tread left at 35k miles. I'll be surprised if I don't get to 75k with them.

Otherwise, I have several northern coworkers running TA/KO's on their trucks, and they are getting 70-90k per set. Mostly highway miles of course.

Wrangler SilentArmors. Never had an issue with them, the tread life is good for me and they ride pretty well for a truck tire.

Swapped the SR-A's off both my '10 (after the first snowfall) and '12 before I even got it home. Those are the worst tires in the bad weather we get here in WI. I know some southern drivers like them but they are scary on snow.

About the only Goodyear I have found to be a pretty decent tire is the AT/S

Had quite a bit of balance issue with the Silent Armor ATs a few years back.
I have Never seen a SRA last much more then 30K.

BFGs, Michelins are almost always good choice. I like the new Rugged Terrain BFG not near as pricey as a ATKO and they are available in sizes less that are not 10ply load range E tires like most ATKOs . I have one of our trucks running a set with nearly 50,000 miles on them and they still have a decent amount of tread left on them.

I have a 2010 that is approaching 30K on the OEM SR-As. I have not been impressed with them at all. Not very good traction and they are wearing fast. Last week I had to replace one because a piece of gravel punctured the tire. I was hoping they were going to be like the Wranglers that came on my 2001 F150, they lasted 65K.

I was looking at Nitto Terra Grapplers, but I think I am going to go with LTX M/S 2's for replacements.

BFG is a great tire. Also look at Cooper "E" rated, last a long time and flex less.

Always had great luck out of nitro terra grapplers. I have 285/65/18's on my EB and have over 50k on them and they still look new.

I have three sets of Michelin M/S2's here and love them. They have a quiet Cadillac ride and last forever. Remember the P metrics are lightweight tires for fuel economy. I went up to the E load tires and lost .5 MPG since each tire is 10lbs heavier. But it tows better, has deeper tread and more bruise resistance on the trails.

The A/T2 is also a good all terrain with excellent street manners.

I put Continental LX-20's on my 2009 Lariat @ 65000. Got rid of the Goodyears because they were almost bald. Couldn't be happier.

I'm about to sell my wranglers too. I've been running BFG ta ko's for years but think I'm going to change. Having a hard time deciding rather to go AT or MT.
