I got 12k off sticker when I bought my 2011 via X-Plan, a bunch of stacked rebates and a good deal on my trade in. This was on a truck I ordered before the EB was on the lots.

Now, back to making the EB faster!

You are right, look at the thread:

The "example" given was for a 5.4L with a calculator, and it is wrong.
- Who ever made that; should put down the slide rule and pick up some datalogging equipment, schedule some dyno time or go to the track. They might learn something about the theory they are using.

Simple Gotts modification, the lbs/min at the MAFS increased 6% in certain RPM ranges using datalogging with Autotap.

The "heat soak" or hot air intake BS, put that one to bed back in 2002 using an OM-44 temp data logging with multiple probes.

just a few i found most around 12k off.. If you ask for the eprice you can get another 500 to 1000 off... My truck stickered at 40,000 and some change... Ended up at 27k couldve got another 1k if i financed.. My local dealership Jim Bass Ford has a 2wd supercrew XLT with the chrome package 5.0 and they have it advertised at 25,900.
54.6k for mine, ordered, 46.8 is what i paid with 0% ford financing

Modifications for fast Ecoboost truck:
1. Tuning - there's a few now, I prefer http://unleashedtuning.com recently Livernois is having massive issues with their turnaround time after an employee left
2. Downpipes/3" cat back - another big increase in power
3. Meth injection - HUGE increase in power, you can pick up double what you did with tuning. OR Nitrous injection (my favorite) fastest F150 Ecoboost ran a 75 shot for HUGE gains

More items are coming around the corner, I'm working on an auxillary fueling/injector setup so I can inject E85 for HUGE gains.

I guess you are looking at adding a set of port injectors to supplement the factory DI injectors. I know this is common in the VW/Audi world once the stock injectors are maxed out. Are there any bigger injectors we can add to the EB? I would be curious to see if something from a S or RS series Audi would fit. Both use Bosch electronics on the ignition and fuel system so there's a chance. Also, what turbos are you looking at switching to? The factory K03s can not have that much more capability left. Finally, have you looked at changing out the factory exhaust manifolds? From what I understand the stock ones have a bit of a nozzle cast into them to speed up the airflow into the turbo but can choke things up once the power increases. I would guess the tubular ones from the SHO would bolt right up.

You have to watch these dealers offering huge discounts off 'MSRP'. Reikart Ford in Columbus OH does this, but they get these numbers IMO in a shady way. The MSRP that you and I look at is the bottom line on the sticker. The MSRP that they are quoting is the top line of the sticker after all options are added, but BEFORE any package discounts are taken off (ie 402A, chrome package discount, etc). That fluffs up their advertised discount.

Www.ordofkirkland.com is doing around $12, 000 off of a ton of trucks. More for college grad and military. Most dealers in seattle are doing something like this.
