26 to 36 gallon tank swap. Whos done it?
Been searching around, and not finding what I need.
Im looking to swap a 36 gallon tank into my 2010 SCREW and ditch the 26 gallon tank, mainly for some extra towing mileage. There is a local scrap yard that has a 2009 4x4 SCREW with the 5.5 foot bed, so I know it will fit, however, I dont want to go through the process of pulling a tank and getting it home only to find it wont work.
Has anyone done this, is it worth the hassle, and has it been documented to work? I found a few discussions talking about doing this with the EB truck, but the fueling system is completely different. I havent found anyone who has done it on a 5.4L based truck.

I live in a rural No. Calif. where gas is $4.15+, but just over the border in Ore. it's $3.59+. I'm loving that big tank. The only problem is that the guage goes haywire on hills when you get down to ~100 mi. on the guage, especially downhill. Saves me ~$15 each tank. When pulling a trailer, it is doubly welcome. In my case it wouldn't take long before it pays for the change.

Same Setup, The Wiring is different of course but its all the same, ill try to find a link, im actually looking to do a custom fuel tank mod since im extending my 5.5Ft Styleside Into a 6.5Ft Flareside So Ill Have More room but im probably gonna go with 38 or maybe 40 gallons but I gotta lose some weight cause im adding so much that my truck is almost past a 1/2 Ton pickup, I might convert to aluminum parts, Okay I need to stop cause im just goin on from a fuel tank to upgrading MY truck
