Seems to b a problem, my local dealer has replaced several due to hanger bearing issues. It is non servicable unfortunately.
It's only 2 piece shafts with problem. SCAB's have a one piece shaft.
Really sucs they r so expensive.

Ford is eating 1/2 the bill, costing me 700 with the tow, If it happens to you fight it! I'm saving my work orders if a recall ever occurs (wishful thinking)....

My SCREW with 5.5' bed also has a one piece aluminum driveshaft.
