My FX2's thread

So I wanted to reserve a thread for my truck as I add things here and there. Enjoy.

RIGHT FROM THE DEALERSHIP, I HAD TO PULL MY MUSTANG BACK HOME.

Good looking truck. That is probably my favorite color on the FX trucks.

I get compliments on the color all the time, I love it. Ford has got some nice colors to wrap the fine lines no doubt.

I have 2 inch lift rear hangers, 6000 k HID's, and a blue LED interior lighting kit...(edit: on order). Lifting the front put it just a bit higher than the rear so lifting the rear I hope will put the rear just enough height. Stock this thing had a Hot Rod stance.....All I needed was side pipes lol. I would have lowered it but I have to drive out to the drilling rig on dirt roads so lifting it was the best option.

Not trying to be a ****. I get lifting it because you gotta drive out to the rig but you got 24" wheels with relatively a small sidewall. Isn't that counter productive? I am all for it if you like it.

this is true...I gotta save up for the beefy tires but at 2400-3000 for a set of 37's and at 1300 for a 6 inch lift, its gonna be a lil bit before I have some decent meat under it. So for now I take it easy down the dirt roads when its time for another hitch. I figure it would cost me about the same for some 20's and 37's but I like the big wheel look...I got the 24's with tires for I think was 900 or 800 bucks on craigslist so that's why they went on.

And I already know someones gonna say"why lift a 2wd?" I had a 99 powerstroke lifted, 20's, 35's Toyo M/Ts, Bullydog, propane inj, and on and on... and I used the 4wd more in boost launching against other bombers then I did off roading. I went mud bogging once, rest of the time was spent keeping her clean. heres one of her and my brothers Duramax
