2010 F150 Platinum Gold System RMST
Hello,
This will be my first post and I hope my asking for help doesn't rub anyone wrong.
I installed a AL3Z-19G364-A factory remote start in my truck. I also install a 8L3Z-19G365-BA PATS immobilizer.
The install went well, I located all wires and the DVOM confirmed each wire did as it was suppose to do.
After the install was complete I attempted to program the bypass module and am having no luck. I have read through countless post and cannot find any confirming imformation as to what I think is the problem.
First off when I attempt to start the truck remotely the PATS light flashes rapidly and I get one chirp which both of these indicate a bypass programming failure. I have both factory keys and have done the key 1, then key 2 and then hit the RMST button to program it as a third key with no luck.
I have an "SA" stamped key blade which some say may be an 80 bit key.
My ultimate question I guess would be, should the immobilizer bypass I purchased work with this system? If not which is the most user friendly option for me to get?
