Hi I just bought a 2013 F150 5.0 SCrew 4x4 302A package (with tow package) to replace my 2010 F150 (more or less the same truck with a different engine). My '10 came with the 7 pin wiring harness connector (trailer side) for the tow package in a bag in the driver's door pocket when I bought the truck. The '13 didn't have the trailer side connector... Im thinking it should have come with the trailer side connector like the '10. My sales person seems to think that it doesn't come with one. Any yes, its my fault for not noticing when i took delivery of the truck. Did i get a freebee with the older truck, or should there be a connector included?

Are you talking about a converter from the 7 Pin to another size connector? Your trailer harness should have a plug already that just fits right into the the connector on the truck.

Came in a bag with fomoco inventory stickers located in the drivers door pocket upon delivery... Trailer side 7 pin connector.

 

Aaaaaah.... The TRAILER side.... Yeah, sounds like you got a freebie in the past.

 

my 2010 with the tow package did not have come with that.

 

My 05 did and so did the 07. Maybe ford figured since most don't get used anyway, that they could charge extra for it to the buyers who need it.
