Need Front Brake Pads

I need front brake pads for the stock rotors. Any thoughts on Wagner TQ or Hawk LTS. Would like to increase braking power for Interstate quick stops. 2010 FX4 lifted with larger tires.

I've been having good luck with ceramics, the TQ dusted just the same as stock did for me

I have aftermarket rotors don't know if that matters though

Are the OEM pads on a 2010 ceramic or semimetalic?

Stainless braided brake lines will improve braking performance over swapping pads and rotors. Pads are only worth replacing if they are over dusting, rotors are only worth changing if they are grooved or warped.

Neither, they are standard.

I just purchased Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramics for my 2010 FX4 SuperCrew. I had done a bunch of reading on whether to go Semi-Metallic or Ceramics, but it proved all for not because when I did the product search on Wagners website and others, they seem to only make ceramic for our application. So thats what I went with. Got them through Amazon. Should have them by Monday and getting them put on Wednesday.

I looked on the Wagner site and it says the OE pad is ceramic. I will look on Amazon too. Was your part number QC1414 for the front and QC1012A for the rear?

Thanks. The pads are not over dusting but they are worn out. Another good reason to replace

I have ceramics on mine, and they do not dust at ALL.

Yep, that's what I ordered. Through amazon it was going to be roughly $85 including tax, but I had a cash back bonus thing so I got them for $32 for everything. Not bad. I'm hopeful since they seem to be OE replacement, that the stock rotors are up to the challenge of a ceramic pad.
