6" lift

6" lift
So for the 6" lift crowd can I get some reviews on your setup? Ride quality? Overall satisfaction? I'm fairly set on running the procomp coil over kit at the moment but I'm always open to opinions. Usually the coil over kits provide better ride/performance generally speaking. Probably buying the lift shortly and install in the spring with new wheels/tires. No sense in running new parts through the Pa winter.
Thanks

I never rode in or drove a 3"+ lifted vehicle that handled better than stock. Added wind buffeting on the highway in crosswinds, increased steering forces and vibration, increased stopping distances and nose dip under heavy braking, body roll around corners. I guess if you LIKE those things, it is a better ride!
Oh plus increased noise, bump steer, death wobble, increased drivetrain wear, can't run through most carwashes or fit under standard 7' garage doors, lower fuel economy, decreased towing capacity, and harder bed access. Other than that, the 6" lifts are fantastic!
Wow I've finally become my Dad!! =) I knew it was coming sooner or later!
PS I have a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited lifted 4", so I'm not just talking smoke.

Added wind buffeting on the highway in crosswinds Stable as can be, increased steering forces true and vibration don't have that, increased stopping distances didn't notice that eitherand nose dip under heavy braking none of that either, body roll around corners I can take corners faster than most cars on the road, in fact they are usually in my way. I guess if you LIKE those things, it is a better ride!
Oh plus increased noise that's from the tires, bump steer, death wobble nope don't have that, increased drivetrain wear sure but how long are you really going to have it and regearing is always an option, can't run through most carwashes I would never wash it other than myself or fit under standard 7' garage doors don't park inside, lower fuel economy didn't notice that either, decreased towing capacity true, and harder bed access not terrible though. Other than that, the 6" lifts are fantastic!

And my MPG was 10 - 11 before the lift and 35's and it is 10 - 11 now. Actually just filled up and it was 10.3 and that was doing offroading to get rocks and hauling heavy loads back and forth for the pond.

If anything it made it better due to the wider stance .... I thought I would have to take it easy but I don't feel insecure about taking turns at all. Maybe at highway speeds but backroads no problem whats so ever.
